Our Mission

Our team – consisting of doctors, therapists and dedicated helpers – sees itself as an emergency service for infection sufferers and as support for infectiologically thinking doctors. We know how desperate patients can be when they do not receive a proper diagnosis or therapy despite a long history of suffering. Therefore, we have made it our mission to fill this gap.

Our Services Overview

We offer comprehensive support for patients, professionals and the public

Patient Consultation

Personal counseling for people with chronic infections

We offer regular consultations for patients with Lyme disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and other co-infections. You and your individual medical history are at the center.

Together we discuss your symptoms, previous findings and the challenges that have arisen from inadequate care. Our experienced contacts take time for your questions and concerns.

Find understanding, support and new perspectives with us.

Individual Action Planning

Finding the way to the right diagnosis and therapy together

After a comprehensive assessment, we develop a tailored action plan with you. Our goal: to enable you to receive a precise diagnosis and effective treatment.

We advise you on specialized laboratory tests and, if desired, arrange contacts with doctors and therapists who have experience with chronic infectious diseases.

Benefit from our established network of experienced professionals.

Network for Professionals

Platform for doctors, naturopaths and therapists

VBCI e.V. is also a contact point for medical professionals who want to get involved in the field of chronic infections.

We promote professional exchange, offer continuing education and provide literature to reintegrate old and new knowledge into medical practice.

Become part of a network that helps shape the future of treatment.

Education & Public Relations

Creating awareness for chronic infectious diseases

We actively educate to raise public awareness about chronic infections. This includes lectures, information stands and a regular newsletter.

We also support media representatives with well-founded information for balanced reporting.

Together we bring the topic into public awareness.

Strengthening Patient Rights

Legal and political support for those affected

Patients with chronic infections often encounter incomprehension and gaps in the healthcare system. We help them to claim their rights – if necessary, even before international bodies such as the European Commission for Human Rights.

Furthermore, we address cases where committed doctors come under pressure because they use alternative treatment methods.

Your rights are our concern – we advocate for fair treatment.

Commitment to Change

For better understanding in medicine and society

We work to better anchor the often overlooked connections of chronic infections in research, teaching and practice.

Our goal is to give patients new hope and motivate professionals to pursue innovative therapeutic approaches.

Together we can sustainably improve care and awareness.

Our Mission Statement

Chronic infectious diseases must no longer be overlooked.

We want to ensure that every patient with suspected Lyme disease or similar infections gets a fair chance of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment.

For this, we build bridges between conventional medicine and naturopathy, between patients and doctors, between science and the public.
